Hi, I’m Nic Cooper and I own Tao Business Services Limited.

I have been a qualified CIMA accountant for almost 30 years and spent 29 years in industry as an accountant for a number of business, both large and small and in a number of sectors, before starting my own business. In 2013, I decided I’d had enough of working for other people and set up Tao, initially on a self-employed basis but then creating my Limited Company. I provide small businesses with help and advice on such things as self-assessment returns, Limited Company accounts, VAT and payroll.

But enough about the business me – what about the “other” me – I hear you ask!
During the summer months I can be seen on a cricket field on most Saturdays in a variety of weather, umpiring, now my playing days are over.
Every day (whatever the weather), I’m walking my mad springer spaniel (is it just me, or are all springer spaniels mad?!), Randall and once a week I go to a pub quiz (and sometimes we even win).
Music plays a big part in my life, either listening to BBC 6 Music, CDs or going to gigs. I’m a big James fan (24 gigs and counting), as well as Radiohead and Slow Readers Club.
Oh yes and my favourite film is The Life of Brian!
